The Wingwalkers

Whilst the Stearmans are amazing to look at with their incredible detail, the wingwalkers are the real show stoppers.

Their arms move up and down, both together and independently .   One leg bends at the knee and the other lifts up to stick straight out in front of the wingwalker.  The heads move from left to right.

They are fastened into a rig which rotates through 180 degrees so put all those moves together and the wingwalkers can do a lot of the manoeuvres that the real ones can.

Just as with the planes, the wingwalkers are very detailed, right down to the outfits and the watches they wear.

Lots of people have said that they really do look like the real thing.
